The most impactful Podcast with Lieutenant Bill Keegan (2 min read)

I had the amazing opportunity to do live podcast with Lieutenant Bill Keegan on May 29, 2018 in NYC.

Bill is the Founder and President of H.E.A.R.T. 9/11, which started as a non-profit designed for the goal of providing aid for victims of natural and man-made disasters, and later became a worldwide known and recognized movement of unique mental and physical recovery. Bill’s organization has been called in to assist and drive recovery services in the US and many other countries.

Bill’s message was extremely inspiring, as he talked about the importance of mental aid as well as providing physical aid to victims of such disasters. While H.E.A.R.T 9/11 helped ease tragedies like 9/11, Katrina, Haiti and many more by delivering necessary products and rebuilding homes, the organization also worked to rebuild a sense of hope in the victims of these disasters. This unique focus on mental aid as well as physical aid is what allows me to call Bill a true caring leader. He takes the time to understand the mentality of people he provides aid to and always attempts to instill a positive mindset in them.

Bill’s drive for working at H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 is one for the sense of fulfillment by delivering messages of hope, not just about making a living. He imparts so much care into his everyday work, which has allowed him to get through some of his own hardships as a first responder that is constantly subjected to so much negativity. He “never feels so selfish as when he’s giving to others,” as it makes him feel fulfilled knowing that he is helping ease the lives of others. What an amazing and positive caring leader!
