Emma Arakelyan is a Featured Speakers at Columbia Business School Executive Program and she will deliver her next speech on Business Digitization.
She will be instructing students on how plan for 10x growth, best to automate their Human Resources process and align it to their overall business strategy.

About Columbia Community Business Program (CCBP)
CCBP is an executive education program for small business owners aligned with the core curriculum of the MBA program at Columbia Business School. Participants will receive one-on-one business counseling, entrepreneurial education, and professionally facilitated peer learning. The program helps established business owners focus on their goals, maximize their time, increase revenues, build the right team, and make a big leap forward.

The program year is divided into four semesters and aligns with the core curriculum of the MBA program at Columbia Business School. Summers offer CEOs and their next-level managers the option of attending skills trainings designed to build on the educational modules of the previous semester. An important element of the second-year curriculum is intensive training on the procurement process.

The program consists of three hour instructor led classes on specified topics offered weekly or on alternate weeks. After completion of each module, students work together in small groups in order to develop business goals incorporating their studies. Once a semester, students meet with instructors one on one to review goals.

CCBP participants also have access to the broadly-offered resources of the Columbia University-Harlem Small Business Development Center and select Business School offerings during the program and beyond. At the conclusion of the program, students will have completed an operations manual, a human resources manual and a case study. Upon graduation, CCBP alumni receive a certificate of completion and credits towards the Certificate in Business Excellence conferred by Columbia Business School. After graduation, CCBP alumni can continue to work closely with CH-SBDC counselors and participate in Columbia University entrepreneurship events.

Emma Arakelyan is invited to be speaker and implementing partner onbehalf of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, the Ministry of High Tech Industry to Neruzh Diaspora Startup Program to be held in Dilijan, Armenia, December 17-21, 2019.

The Neruzh program aims to create an opportunity for Diaspora Armenian entrepreneurs to bring their startups to Armenia and to enhance the Armenian startup ecosystem. This interactive program also aims to advance the entrepreneurs’ businesses in Armenia by enriching their knowledge base, expanding networks, and providing access to funding.

The program will walk more than 50 entrepreneurs and startupers through the entrepreneurial journey with sessions from idea validation to investment pitching and expert talks/panels about the Armenian startup ecosystem and global exposure.

Speaker Bio Dr. Armen Kherlopian is a world class data and strategy leader as demonstrated by repeatedly driving new venture growth and ecosystem impact. Moreover, his industry experience is cross-sector including Global Fortune 100 Companies, elite asset managers, startups as well as government organizations such as the FDA and NASA. He is a founding partner at the BAJ Accelerator hosted at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute as well as a Venture Judge in the Columbia University Entrepreneurship Community and a Science Mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab. At Genpact (NYSE: G, 100,000+ Staff) his contributions have included driving transformation in global drug safety to that of analytics insights in Formula E racing, for champion standing across three continents including the Paris, Santiago and New York ePrixs. At Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH, 25,000+ Staff) he was key in developing the advanced analytics book of business and received the firm’s highest accolade, the Booz Allen Innovation Award. As a thought leader, he co-authored the Field Guide to Data Science, the most successful publication in the firm’s 100+ year history, as well as co-founded the Data Science Bowl, which is the largest data challenge for social good. Digitain organized a hackathon event in Yerevan, Armenia where Emma Arakelyan was a speaker on the panel. The M1TQ program, organized in the framework of Digitain’s DigiTown project<https://www.1lurer.am/en/2021/02/11/%E2%80%9CDigitown%E2%80%9D-International-Center-for-Innovative-Technologies-to-be-built-with-5-000-jobs/412168>, aims to crowdsource innovative technological solutions and empower the Armenian startup ecosystem. This year, the program was organized in cooperation with Garage48<https://garage48.org/> and was composed of 2 parts: the hackathon and acceleration. The M1TQ hackathon<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA6IjgudXE8&t=840s> kicked off in Yerevan on 20-22 of May with a whopping 187 participants and 50 ideas pitched. The hackathon was followed by the 12-week acceleration program led by Garage48 experts and professionals. As a result, seven startup teams finalized their ideas and made MVPs.
